Its itinerary crosses the interior of Spain and covers approximately 790 kilometers between Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, France, and Santiago de Compostela. The Northern Way covers approximately 820 kilometers from Irún to Santiago de Compostela. Many stages run along the Cantabrian Sea, offering pilgrims beautiful coastal landscapes.
